All I can say is, "Wow"! What other place can you drink beer and ride multiple roller coasters? What a recipe for disaster. Fortunately, the family made it through without incident and fun was had by all at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA.
Other than the fact that it is a mere 3.5 hours from Raleigh, the other thing that I liked about Williamsburg was the variety that it offers. We also stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge, a terrific hotel/ indoor water park. It allowed me to share the whiteness of my lounging winter months with perfect strangers. How wonderful!
Please notice from the photo, how pleasant the children were during the entire visit.

ARRRGGG!!! You guys were just minutes from my house...did you come up 64 through Hampton Roads? I would have loved to have you come by!
Bush Gardens is an annual favorite of ours. Both girls will be tall enough to ride all of the coasters this year so it is going to be a blast!
One year, Jay and I closed the park down with repeated rides on Escape from Pompeii. The old boy got carded at BG and there was no beer for him. Ah...the memories.

Nice. Did you dare to ride anything like that contraption we rode at Wild Adventure? That was the only time I've ever felt the blood rush to my head to the point I thought my eyes might pop out. Terrible!
I don't drink beer and ride roller coasters. It's more of an acid trip thing. Either that or I don't ride roller coasters. Maybe I just drink beer. I forget.
