Costa Rica with Dad

I must apologize for being lax about this blog, lately, but as you all will find out very soon I have good reason. For now, however, I would like to share a couple of pictures from a recent trip to Costa Rica. My father invited me to accompany him to Costa Rica for a little male bonding. I was delighted to spend some quality time with my Dad, away from the hustle and bustle. We had a terrific time and really renewed our relationship. Thanks Dad! I love you.

Dad gears up for the "Canapy Tour", a ride along zip-lines in the trees of a Costa Rican rain forest.

Dad makes it to the bottom of the mountain, intact.

Here I come. Baby got back.

That is really, really, really, really (I can't find an infinity key) cool!
Good for you guys!

By the way, I understand from a herpetologist friend of mine that
in the land of Costa Rica, Killer Whales will walk right up on the sidewalks and eat seals much to the delight of tourists...
Did you see that?

Awesome. Is it me or in the photo of Rick on the zip line, does it look like they clear cut the rain forest so the zip line could descend? Seems to defeat the purpose.

PS: My verification word is "phimfoax", which I believe is like a Faux Finish, but made by stamping old film negatives, dipped in paint, onto a wall. Whoah, I just made that up, but I bet it would actually look cool, especially if in black and white.

Costa Rica, eh? I have this recurring dream of one day going there and fishing for marlin on the Pacific side of the country. I've actually done some land shopping on line. What'd you think of the country? Would you go again?
